Out of Warranty Policy

Last Updated: 1 December 2024 | CoolBreeze AC Services, Hyderabad

This policy explains the terms that apply when your AC unit or a previous CoolBreeze repair falls outside the warranty coverage period.

What is Out-of-Warranty Service?

A service is considered out-of-warranty when:

  • The 90-day service warranty on a previous repair has expired
  • The issue is a new, unrelated fault not covered by the prior warranty
  • The AC is past its manufacturer's product warranty period (typically 1–5 years depending on brand and model)
  • Damage is due to power surge, flooding, lightning, misuse, or unauthorized repair

Out-of-Warranty Service Terms

For out-of-warranty service requests:

  • Standard diagnostic and service charges apply
  • All repair work is quoted transparently before commencement
  • Every out-of-warranty repair still includes a fresh 90-day labour warranty from us on the new work done
  • Spare parts used carry a 90-day parts warranty

Old vs. Economically Viable Repairs

For AC units more than 8–10 years old, our technician may advise that repair may not be cost-effective compared to replacement. We provide honest guidance to help you make the right decision and never push unnecessary repairs.

Transparent Diagnosis

We charge a nominal diagnostic visit fee of ₹149 for out-of-warranty assessments. This fee is waived if you proceed with the repair. You receive a full written quote before any work begins and you can always decline at no further cost.

Spare Parts for Older Models

We make every effort to source parts for older AC models. If a required part is unavailable or discontinued, we will inform you and suggest alternatives. We do not use low-quality counterfeit parts.
